What is a Domain Name?
The domain name is simply the unique website address which people enter into their web browsers e.g. www.GL2media.co.uk and is normally associated with your business name.
Can I choose any domain name?
Yes, as long as it is available. We normally advise choosing .co.uk or .com domains. As soon as you pay a deposit we will register your website name. Beforehand, we can advise on what is available.
What does web hosting mean?
This simply refers to the space on a server where all the information is kept securely for which there is an annual fee. GL2media only uses highly reliable web hosts.
What are your prices?
We offer two packages ranging from just £99. Each package includes free design, hosting, email addresses and much more. Check out our packages and prices for more details. You can always add extra options from the start or at any time.
How can I contact you?
We can be contacted by phone, fax or email. For details see our Contact page. We endeavour to respond to all queries within 24 hours.
How long does it take to get my site up and running?
It depends but it could be as quickly as 24 hours! Much depends on understanding what you want, how soon you can provide the information to populate the pages and the complexity of your site. Typically, we would expect to be able to make the website available within 7 days.
Do I get email addresses included?
Both packages include an email address linked to your website name e.g. mail_GL2media.co.uk. We can also arrange for items to be automaticaly redirected to an existing email address which you might already have.
What if I want some elements from different packages?
Not a problem! Feel free to mix and match and pick some optional extras. And if there is anything else you would like to include but which isn't listed, contact us and we'll see what we can do. But remember that the prices you see are what you pay; there are no hidden extras or vat.
How do you determine what I want?
We have a requirements capture questionnaire which helps us understand what you do and what you want from the website. We can go through this in the initial consultation at your workplace or location convenient to you or can equally send it to you to fill in.

What about payment?
Once you have decided to go ahead, we would expect a deposit to secure the website name of your choice and to start on your website. For the £99 option, the full payment is required to guarantee your website name.
